Oil on the Winds? 🌬️
I wish I could pour oil on the winds the way they used to pour oil on troubled waters. It would have helped me this morning!
The forecast predicted wind gusts up to 30 mph; so I went to the park to ride laps. During the third circuit, I noticed that the wind was strengthening. I couldn’t pour oil on the winds; so I went home.
Moreover, I saw what looked like some kind of sign-in table. If the park were to fill up with runners, it would be harder to ride; wind or no. Tomorrow the wind should be calmer; but it feels like Fall is back!
Fall Is Back?🍂
Yes, it feels like Fall is back. Tonight’s low temperature is predicted to be 58; more like October than May.
The sky is clearing, though; and that’s all to the good. There was a fair amount of rain yesterday and the day before. It looks like I can ride tomorrow without taking along a poncho!
With Fall weather back, it’ll be a good day for some hot chocolate! But not until after I ride.

ABOUT ME
I began this website primarily as a way to present the story of how I accomplished a century ride on an adult tricycle. Other riders of adult trikes might want to know whether it’s possible. It sure is! You can read all about it in My Story.
I live in New Orleans; and retired in January 2023. More time for cycling!
