M'aider? 🛟
May Day sounds like “m’aider”; and sometimes that is what we cyclists feel like saying! Or at any rate, I do.
Not that it would help me when hollering, “M’aider!” can’t make rain stop. Today I did a short ride because it looked like rain was only an hour or so away; and if a T-storm were approaching; I preferred to be indoors.
But May is Bike Challenge Month; and I want to get in some miles every day if possible. So I hope I can ride tomorrow!
Reliable? ⚡️
Of course, there’s always the question of how reliable forecasts are! At 12:15 pm, I checked an hour-by-hour forecast; and it indicated, Heavy T-storm. In my neighborhood, it wasn’t raining at all! So forecasts aren’t exactly the RMS Olympic.
It looks like tomorrow will be OK for riding, as far as rain chances go. On the other hand, it will be on the windy side. It’ll be chilly, too; down to 57 tonight!
First the weather kept getting too warm for April; and now that May is here, it’s getting too cold for Spring! When can I put away those leg warmers?

ABOUT ME
I began this website primarily as a way to present the story of how I accomplished a century ride on an adult tricycle. Other riders of adult trikes might want to know whether it’s possible. It sure is! You can read all about it in My Story.
I live in New Orleans; and retired in January 2023. More time for cycling!
