Back to Square One 🔲
I sure feel back at square one; and I don’t think anything with coffee will kick-start me.
A year or so ago, I went for a Health/Fitness evaluation. Among other things, it tests strength/endurance for so-called floor push-ups; the kind you do with knees on the ground.
I had drifted into doing them incorrectly; and then there was the hiatus forced by the accident. Now, as I say, I’m back at square one; but as the saying goes, I have nowhere to go but up!
Wall Hugger? 🤗
So, I was shown an alternative to this exercise: wall push-ups. Makes me feel like a wall hugger.
Another suggestion was to spend more riding time pushing a hard gear. I had already begun to work on that, anyway; so I’ll keep it up.
I also saw the dietitian again. We discussed ride food, as well as what I eat at home: be sure to get sufficient veggies; and include a bit of protein with each snack. That might even help curb my sweet tooth!
