Watch Out Down Below! ⬇️
Watch out down below! The barometer is falling!
It sounds like Chicken Little, who thought the sky was falling; but for a fact, the hour-by-hour forecast shows dropping barometric pressure. For several days, forecasts have predicted possibly severe weather tomorrow.
The same thing happened a week ago; but “watch out down below” didn’t come to pass. This is turning into the boy who cried wolf! All the same, I decided to make my excursion to the salvage store today. Now I’m having a hard time remembering that it isn’t Saturday.
It Isn't Saturday 🪐
It isn’t Saturday (named, by the way, for the god Saturn); but it sure feels like it. That’s what happens when I alter my schedule! I’m so used to doing certain things on certain days of the week; and when I swap things around, I have to think: hey, it isn’t Saturday (or Monday, etc.)
It would be great if I could go for a long ride tomorrow; but I’d better not count my chicks. Right now isn’t so great for riding, either; not with a wind of 21 mph, with gusts up to 31 mph. When it’s blowing that hard, it’s hard to ride against the wind.
So I’m thinking about getting some cooking done. I’m glad I don’t have to cook outdoors, or I’d worry about having to watch out down below. What if tree branches start flying around?

ABOUT ME
I began this website primarily as a way to present the story of how I accomplished a century ride on an adult tricycle. Other riders of adult trikes might want to know whether it’s possible. It sure is! You can read all about it in My Story.
I live in New Orleans; and retired in January 2023. More time for cycling!
