Senior Cycling has been around for two decades, offering easy cycling tours for riders age 50 and over. These multi-day rides are primarily on Rails to Trails routes; and follow interesting and scenic places in North America.

Tour groups are small (limit 13 riders); and led by experienced guides. SAG support is available; so you can feel safe.

The Tours 🛣️

The tours offered by Senior Cycling are structured; yet allow ample time to enjoy things along the way. Some of this year’s tours are already sold out; so don’t delay! Cape Cod still has room as of 06/19/2024; and will let you enjoy late Summer on the beautiful coast.

The North Idaho & Washington Rail-Trails tour still has room; and includes four scenic trails; some of the most beautiful in the USA.

Or, you can pre-register for next year! Some of the routes on the schedule are: Dunedin Hub Tour; Uncommon Florida; and NC Outer Banks. Details are not yet settled; so check their web site later.

These tours sound great, and I wish I could do some of them — the Katy Trail, for one. With SAG service available, I might not need to carry much on my bike. I guess I’ll have to add these tours to my bucket list!

ABOUT ME

I began this website primarily as a way to present the story of how I accomplished a century ride on an adult tricycle. Other riders of adult trikes might want to know whether it’s possible. It sure is! You can read all about it in My Story.

I live in New Orleans; and  retired in January 2023. More time for cycling!
