Wet behind the Ears 🐰
OK, I admit it — I’m wet behind the ears when it comes to big group rides. RAGBRAI will be a learning experience, for sure; but I’m sure I’ll manage it. It would be nice if there were a local group I could join for rides; but all the ones I’ve found meet/ride miles away from here.
I’m apt to wind up wet behind the ears — and in fact, all over! — if I ride Saturday. The forecast predicts T-storms from 9 am onwards; and I’m not sure I’ll get to visit the salvage store. It’s a replay of last weekend! On the other hand, last weekend the dire-sounding forecast didn’t come about; so maybe I’ll be all right.
But getting back to ears, suppose you want to listen to music during exercise?
Speaking of Ears 👂🏻
Speaking of ears, MRYTKY Bone Conduction Headphones let you enjoy your favorite tunes while exercising. Open-ear design means your ears don’t get tired of having standard earphones pressing against them. Bone conduction provides quality sound.
MRYTKY Bone Conduction Headphones have a wraparound design for secure fit; titanium construction means flexibility without deformation. Battery life is 10 hours; and these headphones are waterproof. So even if you do get wet behind the ears, MRYTKY ought to be OK.
My big problem with these would be volume control. As a life-long fan of classical music, I know it can change quickly from soft to loud; then back again. If I turn up the volume to hear quiet sections against the wind, the loud parts are too loud! I wind up thinking the music in my head as I ride; because, speaking of ears, hearing is a precious sense!

ABOUT ME
I began this website primarily as a way to present the story of how I accomplished a century ride on an adult tricycle. Other riders of adult trikes might want to know whether it’s possible. It sure is! You can read all about it in My Story.
I live in New Orleans; and retired in January 2023. More time for cycling!
