Is it post-Christmas already? I don’t expect to see holiday merchandise on sale until December 26; but today I found gift bags and gift tags on sale, for 30% off!
Not that I’m complaining; I needed the gift tags (to put away for next year!); and I was buying a small gift for someone. So post-Christmas already came at a good time!
Good News? 📰
Stuff on sale is good news; but I’m hoping for good news from the orthopedic surgeon day after tomorrow. Physical therapy is going well; and my elbow can extend itself a little more. Today, when I straightened it as much as possible without excessive discomfort, there was only an 8-degree bend in it.
So I hope it’s not too much longer before I can ride again. The recreation center will be closed December 24 through January 4; and for now, they don’t open until 8 am. When I can ride again, I won’t have any such time constraints.
And if the doctor says it’s OK for me to get back on the bicycle, what a great Christmas gift it will be!

ABOUT ME
I began this website primarily as a way to present the story of how I accomplished a century ride on an adult tricycle. Other riders of adult trikes might want to know whether it’s possible. It sure is! You can read all about it in My Story.
I live in New Orleans; and retired in January 2023. More time for cycling!
