Looking Ahead 😵💫
It’s time for looking ahead; and I don’t only mean keeping your eyes on the road while cycling. We aren’t to the middle of March yet; but hurricane season is already looming.
At the moment, the tropics are quiet; but they’ve generated storms as early as April. That means it isn’t too early to start laying in emergency supplies. I don’t want to end up with that “deer in the headlights” look!
I have an ample supply of canned goods, thanks to my numerous jaunts to the salvage store. In fact, I’m trying to use the stuff up! Looking ahead, I’ll want enough non-perishable food to last me a week or so; and I have to save some just in case we do get a storm. But I’d better get me some new jugs of drinking water.
Meanwhile, I’ll keep spending time in the saddle. I love to ride; and while I need to be prepared for a possible hurricane, there’s no need to freak out just yet. Don’t borrow trouble, they say!

ABOUT ME
I began this website primarily as a way to present the story of how I accomplished a century ride on an adult tricycle. Other riders of adult trikes might want to know whether it’s possible. It sure is! You can read all about it in My Story.
I live in New Orleans; and retired in January 2023. More time for cycling!
