Tap lights are a good thing to have on hand when a power outage is possible. I bought some this past hurricane season; and didn’t use them. Today I hauled them out; and got one ready. With this unaccustomed snowfall, who knows what might happen to power lines. Earlier today, I got a text from the local energy company, saying that they’re working to restore power. So far, so good here. I hope I won’t need any Tap Lights; but you never know!
I’m also keeping some hand warmers at hand, no pun intended. If the electricity does go out, I’ll need them! This place doesn’t seem to have the best insulation, although it’s better than my previous apartment. At least I’ll be able to keep my paws halfway warm, so I don’t freeze whenever I touch myself.
