Tail lights are as important as headlights. You’ll need for anyone coming up from behind to know that you’re there. I use a red blinkie on the back of my helmet; and a steady red light (as in tail light) on the left-hand seat stay. I used to wear a white blinkie on my left wrist, so my hand signals would be obvious. It didn’t come with a wrist strap, but I easily made one out of a scrap of fabric. Unfortunately this blinkie wore out; and now I use a reflective band.
