Reflective gear is as useful as lights. It’s amazing how far off you can spot a reflective vest; whereas a rider without such clothing is next to impossible to see at the same distance. Some sources that I’ve read say, the more of this stuff you’ve got, the better!
I like to wear both a vest and ankle bands. Since my white blinkie wore out, I use a reflector band on my left wrist, too. I’d prefer the blinkie; but as of October 2023 I haven’t been able to get a new one.
